Hi folks! Can anyone recommend an orthopedic doctor for a (repeat) sprained ankle? Also a physical therapist? Thanks!

I just love Dr. Greifinger in Belleville. Had cared for both men knees and just had rotator cuff surgery in June. Friendly staff. He doesn't run right for the knife! Physical Therapy? Absolute Rehab on Franklin in Nutley. SO good. Owner is a fellow Bloomfielder. Love everyone here. I'm currently going for rehab on my shoulder. Massages by Melissa can't be beat. I feel so good after my appointments.

Ascend Physical Therapy, Montclair. I've been in PT for 5 surgeries in 5 years. The therapists there is the most focused I've dealt with. Ask for Patty.

Michelle....yes! PT is Kim's passion in life! She goes above and beyond in every way, even giving therapy for free and volunteering for so many organizations, especially the veterans. She gets them all kinds of help with many needs. I have seen forgotten patients go from being wheelchair bound for years in nursing homes and being able to WALK again at Absolute Rehab.

Thank you everyone! I love this community!! Dottie, my doctor did have a recommendation, but it's at a facility connected to Clara Maass which had so much construction going on that parking is a nightmare.

It's a bit of a drive from Bloomfield but I go to Prospect Physical Therapy in west orange (about 20 mins away) They are amazing and take almost every insurance plan. Good luck to your son!

Holistic medicine. Never thought of Reiki as that... Did have a couple sessions but more like relaxing mind making body at peace relaxation treatment. Use to know person in Livingston but that was like 10+ years ago..keep ur mind open may help the healing. Good luck
