I just love Dr. Greifinger in Belleville. Had cared for both men knees and just had rotator cuff surgery in June. Friendly staff. He doesn't run right for the knife! Physical Therapy? Absolute Rehab on Franklin in Nutley. SO good. Owner is a fellow Bloomfielder. Love everyone here. I'm currently going for rehab on my shoulder. Massages by Melissa can't be beat. I feel so good after my appointments.

Had double knee replacement done by Dr Eric Mirsky who did his fellowship with Dr John Insul the Dr that invented the surgery and engineered the implant. Dr Mirsky Was at Hospital for Special Surgery. Now out of Summit medical group in Berkeley Heights. He has. 0% re do record. Went to Overlook state of the art limb replacement only floor. And rehab in Morristown. I did my homework researching who to use. And 3 years later would use the same Dr again. In box me if you want more info. This surgery is no joke. Best of luck

I know a few people who had problems with Chase & Mendes. One needed 2 surgeries in NYC to repair damage done (don't know which doc). Love Ducey & Femino, but their office is crazy. Rarely less than an hour wait often longer. Dr Hole was recommended to us & though his waiting room is always full, we've always been seen on time or close to it. He's done several successful surgeries on friends/family & is very gentle & compassionate.

Try Dr. Richard Rosa with Advanced Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Center in West Orange, 973-736-9980. Grover had tremendous pain on his right foot and saw one surgeon in NY who charged him $400 for nothing. Dr. Rosa relieved the pain after one treatment. He is a real gentleman.

Dr. Mark Drzala at New Jersey Spine Specialists at Mountainside Hospital. He is in practice with Dr. Mitchell Reiter (neurosurgeon). They fixed my back and keep me pain free. They are the absolute best! Make your appointment with Dr. Drzala. He will explain everything in detail!!! Expect to be with him at least an 1-1 1/2 hours. They go above and beyond! The staff is awesome too! I've been going there for 17 years and my lumbar, thoracic and cervical vertebrae were a mess! I know of many who I referred to him to be extremely happy! 703-409-2786

We have used Dr. Reiger, Lin, etc in Cedar Knolls and love them. I would highly recommend using someone who only does pediatrics if it is for a child. Also, we are close enough to NYC, the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases is a phenomenal ortho center, and also has a peed division. Good luck!

I was really pleased with Dr. Chase with Active Orthopedist's in Mountainside Hospital. Huge practice - I noted one of them specializes in "non surgical spine"... But want to recommend considering chiropractic. Bloomfield Total Health on Broad St. (by I-Hop) is a complete care practice. Chiropractic, physical therapy (rare Dr. of PT), acupuncture, medical massage... and they use the gentle PRO-ADjuster machine that gently vibrates each vertabrae...

I had surgery on my spine last year around this time. I had a herniated disk AND sciatic nerve issue. I suffered over a year and could barely walk by the time I went to see Dr. Alapatt. He saved my life! I woke up walking without any issues!
