Just had my daughter at the Bloomsburg Geisinger and everyone there was absolutely amazing! It's a one stop shop where you can get everything you need to done (ultrasounds, doctors appointments, blood work, labor/delievery). I wouldn't recommend anywhere else! I saw the midwives there and they are all the nicest people. 570-387-2474

Welcome to Bloom! I lived in Charleston, SC for a long while! For Pediatrician - I have nothing but the best to say about Stacey Cummings. She's been with my little guy since the day he was born. She's with Geisinger Danville. I can be no help with a GP, I haven't found one myself yet that I love.
Alyssa E. replied:
Kathy Steckel at Geisinger is amazing. She listens and remembers. They also have an app that shows test results the next day and you can message the doctor through it. It's very helpful if you are a nervous mom (like I was)
Kara H. replied:
Hi Jillian Fosse check out The Bloomsburg-area Parent Connection page too. Had both my boys at Bloom Hospital and no complaints. I heard they just did a remodel. I'm sure you could tour

Welcome to the neighborhood!! We had our first two at Danville and our third at Bloomsburg, both Geisinger. In Danville, the baby stays in your room with you, whereas at Bloom, there's a nursery so you can get rest. We liked both, and had comparable care at both places. For pediatric care, we go to Bloom Hospital and see Dr.Everett and Dr.Sengupta. I highly recommend the book The Happiest Baby on the Block by Harvey Carp. (Or is it Karp?) Anyway, congratulations on your family and your move. Come see me in a play sometime at Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble!
Toni-Ann Y. replied:
Welcome! I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Sengupta at Geisinger Pediatrics at Bloomsburg Hospital. He's the best.
Hannah H. replied:

Hi Jillian, I moved to Bloomsburg mid way through my second pregnancy and joined the practice at Geisinger Medical Center. I ended up delivering my daughter through Bloomsburg Hospital with a mid wife and just two months ago delivered my third baby at Geisinger with the OB team there. If you have any questions about either place just pm me. Happy to help.

Susan B. replied:
Sometimes doctors think chiropractors are quacks and so do a lot of people. Personally, I've had good luck with chiropractors for my back. Dr. Eshelman on route 11 is good.
