Dr Arnall or Dr Day from Ocoee Animal Hospital. They worked diligently for weeks to save my severely ill cat " Chance". They kept in constant touch by phone of his progress or not as they tried to save him. He is now home and doing exceptionally well. Great Vets.

Ocoee Animal Hospital! They have been great to our dogs! When Nymeria was in the hospital there and she was finally well enough to leave, the vet came in and met us on a Sunday so that she wouldn't have to spend another night away from home. We wouldn't have known any different, he was the one who called us.
Carolyn N. replied:
Ocoee is the only place we ever used and there's a reason for that - they're wonderful. Dr. Fran Mishke (sp?) was awesome and even came out to our home when it was time to say goodbye to our little yorkie last year. Very caring doctor and great facility.
Patricia L. replied:
We like Mary Brennen at alternative vet on 515 headed to Blairsville.
New to the area does anyone know of a veterinarian who will come to my home to help me put my sweet 11-year-old pug down
I preferred to do it at home
Carolyn N. replied:
Dr. Fran Mishke (sp?) at Ocoee Animal came out to our house to put down our precious yorkie last year. She was so kind and compassionate, even cried with us. Snickers died in my husband's arms.
Hi everyone! I will be moving here in a couple of weeks. Can anyone recommend a good vet for my dog? Thank you!
Alice F. replied:
Ocoee Animal Hospital. Dr Arnall or Dr Day. They are on Rt 5 across from Fannin Hospital in Blue Ridge on 88 All Creatures Place. Great compassion and expert veterinary care.

Carolyn F. replied:
I have used Mountain Emergency several times and would recommend them if you need emgerency care in the middle of the night. They are also open on weekends and holidays.
Our FL vet traumatized our already sketchy/squirrelly rescue dog. Are there any vets that do house calls for annual shots/check ups?
Samantha J. replied:
Lyn Lewis
Pam R. replied:
I’m thinking that I’ve read somewhere here about RN or PA type Vet assistants who can come to your home. But try Oconee Vet and Cohutta Vet. If you’re traveling with your dog, that means he’ll get into your car. You might be able to drive to a Vet and they’ll come out to the dog. Cohutta is across from the Rope Adventure place. Oconee is on the way to McCaysville.
