I am in desperate need of finding a podiatrist (foot doctor - surgeon) in Fort Wayne or Muncie. Prefer mature Doctor with a good track record. Kind of thinking...

Dr KEMMLER in Celina and does surgery in Portland!
Sandra F. replied:
I don't know if he is connected w/ Parkview. By mentioning MRSA.... do directly to ST JOE or PARKVIEW. Dr. A. will direct you up there, more than likely. Speaking from experiene w/ a hard to heal wound... go to the best from the beginning... That being said, Dr. A does have his own wound clinic also in Bluffton... on Fridays only... NOT in the clinic. HE WOULD TELL FROM THE BEGINING IF HE CAN DO ANYTHING FOR YOUR OR NOT.... BUT TIME IS NOT ON YOUR SIDE W/ MRSA. Jess had it... not pretty. I was in & out of ST.Joe wound Clinic for months.... State of the Art....3 yrs ago

Have you considered a foot specialist at Central Indiana Orthopedics in Muncie rather than a podiatrist? They are much more atuned to current surgeries and a one time surgery may end your problems. I say this because I had 8 surgerys on what turned out to be fatty tissue in the arches of both feet. When being looked at by foot specialist (actual Dr./surgeon) he said those lumps would never go away no matter how many times a podiatrist operated on them. Surgeries are done in their offices (nice operating rooms and recovery areas) and they accept all insurances. Fort Wayne also has Orthpedic Center where Emily went after one of their trauma surgeons put her lower and upper arm back together just last year. PLEASE if you do nothing else, at least visit a qualified surgeon like one of these mentoned.

Emily's ORTHO NORTHEAST Ft. Wayne services Parkview Hospital.

Judy, Dr. Karr at ONE is a most trusted and skilled in our opinion. He really straightened out Ruby's foot.
