I'm picking up some coke next week and need a ride to California. How bout I drive your shit for free. Win/Win.

They all outsource to the lowest bidder unless you go for one of the classic car transportation companies. Since you are buying sight unseen I trust this must be something like a LFA, so the few thousand it will cost you should be worth it. On the off chance it is just a common model and you are buying from so far off to get a great price or a weird color/option combo just do uShip and insure it. It is rare for something bad to happen.

Montway is just a broker. Fisher is the shipping company we use.

I just looked mine up. It was enclosed. Called plycar. It was on there with an Aston Martin and a Bugatti Veyron. No problem. But it was $1700 from California to Michigan. https://i.imgur.com/V8 cCCIf.jpg

Good luck with your venture. In past week I have shipped my car from CA to Fl safely without a scratch by a transporter "JEFF" he was really a nice person, I found him on a marketplace by placing my shipment over there. The thing that pushed me to pay him 50$ extra is I forgot some important stuff in the cupboard of the car but nothing was misplaced, when I asked him about that did he knew about this stuff? he smiled and said "yeah..I have read watched it and keep it again" that really make me amazed. https://www.autotransportcity.com/

I also have read and watched \(on YouTube\) auto transport totaled compilations, Hence, every company claims to be the best company but only few of them are look a like reliable as I found this auto transport [market place](https://www.autotransportcity.com/) few months ago, I have used them one for my Charger. It was painless experience

[Patriot Transport USA](https://www.patriottransportusa.com/transport-reviews.html), they have a lot of experience with enclosed shippers.

The people who are telling you to fly out and drive it back are not giving good advice, in my opinion. I spent hours researching shipping my cars both times that I did it, and far and away, shipping was a much better value proposition. Both times I shipped brand new cars this way and just did it through a broker. The second guy was a bit difficult to communicate with but he did exactly what we agreed to. The first guy was the same but he was absolutely incredible. We texted the whole way and he delivered cross country within a 3 hour window he had projected out. These guys know what they're doing, are fairly reliable, and your car will be fine.

>If my car is damaged when it arrives, I will be devastated. The only way to eliminate that is go get the car yourself. Fly out, drive home. 2 day trip that will cost half of shipping it and you view some nice scenery along the way.

Look up a company called Car Pull, IIRC they're out of Arizona but run from Texas to California

My dealership has had some rare vehicles that we’ve shipped all over the country. Just shipped one today, in fact, trying to reach my manager to get a name for you. I’m in DFW if that helps.
