Looking to buy a German Shepherd puppy I am looking to purchase a GS, but the breeders by me are in the range of $3500 for one. While I want a dog that is obviously bred...

There are breeders that are very reputable that aren’t producing show quality dogs. Are you looking for a show line or working line? Working lines are usually more expensive, a quality working line will usually start you at around $1200, whilst a show line starts at around $1000. A $1200 working line would usually be the last pup sold in a litter, while the first pup sold, litter pick, can be around $2500-3500. My girl is a Czech working line and German working line mix and I got her for $1400.

Look into rescues. Our past three have been rescues, and they have been delightful. Check with the GSD Rescue in your area.

Breeding is too complicated to be summarized in a number. The initial cost of the puppy is only a part of a long story. I suggest reading and researching the topic. There are many bloodlines. Although they are all considered GSD, the differences are significant. First, you need to decide what kind of Shepherd you want. It should fit your life style. Another important topic: the breed is plagued by health problems. If the dog needs treatments or procedures down the road, the initial cost of the puppy will be dwarfed by the medical bills. Cost of animal surgeries, is almost like that for humans.

My pure breed 5 yr old was a rehome. There's a local group where I live that's not for dogs but a community group, someone posted on there that he needed a home. My 11 wk old pure breed, her mom was imported from germany and both parents have champion bloodlines. I got her from my trainer and she was 2500. She was very well bred and is perfectly healthy. So it just varies what's around you.
Does anyone know of a pet sitting service that will do overnight care for an ill six-month old cat? She's an office cat with plenty of daytime care, but needs overnight...

ISO a house/pet sitter to come when we leave for any time. We have lots of pets so need an animal lover!! We were hiring one person but that fell through.
