Please make sure that your movers are FULLY insured. There is a huge difference between FULLY insured and Valuation insurance. Please note......."When you are moving, its always nice to know whether your possessions are insured. Valuation insurance, is mandated by the Federal Department of Transportation, however this does not always cover the full cost of damaged goods, but it does provide some protection. Another form of protection to insure your possessions is to look at your homeowners or renters insurance, for your policy may already cover your possessions in a move. Valuation insurance is based on the weight of an object. If you have a piece of crystal that weighs two pounds and is worth $2000.00.....and it is dropped and broken, a company that uses valuation insurance will pay you $1.20.....($.60 per pound). OFR, Inc. Residential and Commercial Moving IS a FULLY insured and bonded moving company. A FULLY insured moving company will cover this item in whole. Just a helpful moving tip for today. All about moving with a peace of mind.

Cross Town Movers is the best! There might be slightly cheaper out there, but they offer the best service and are still very reasonable.
