The part you need is "HP P/N 5069-8363", same thing any Computer Shop will tell you, especially based on the age of the computer. I could not find this on ebay but there are similar ones for up to $15. It should really take 2 minutes to replace if you choose to buy it.

I went to Boston TechCollective in Somerville, not too far from BHCC, to get B'S computer fixed. They said it would cost $85 and it did. No hidden expenses or costs. They even sent me an email a week later to make sure everything was ok.
