If you are only looking for airfare use Kayak.com. If you are looking for a vacation package use a travel agent. If you want to be loyal to a particular airline, they have full vacation package's at great prices and you get the loyalty points toward your airlines. Travel agents don't get any commission from the airlines any more. So they have surcharges for airline ticket only packages.
