We stayed in apartments in September but passed what looked like a very busy site at Camp Seget. It's about half hour drive from Split. No idea what facilities but you could check it out to see if it ticks your boxes

We stayed at harbours in the North of Holland which had spaces for motorhomes for a few euro. Recommend Urk and Enkhuizen.

Kinderdijk Windmill with aire close by in Ablasserdam. EHU, toilets and showers €17 last April. nice bike ride to the windmills. Space Expo in Noordwijk is very interesting and you can visit the factory where they make parts for the international space station (to take your passport if you'd like to do that). Keukenhof for the tulips - we stayed at V.O.F. Camping Hof van Eeden in Lisse for this and cycled off road to the tulips. Good aire at Den Helder old docks. Some ehu and showers. Immediately adjacent to maritime museum including a submarine and old sailing ship

Delft Hout is close to Hook of Holland, we used that for our first trip abroad, Can walk into Delft which is lovely, can get the train to the Kreukenhof gardens or Amsterdam . Have activities for kids too

We stayed at a Temporary holiday site next to a Camping & Caravan CS site at Sea Palling last month (Keith Farm) its 100 metres from a fantastic sandy beach, local shop, small pub and a fish and chip shop within walking distance, a Tesco 10 minute drive in Stalham...

Breck farm is nice, Mill Cottage is adult only and no dogs but very nice

We stayed at Beeston Regis last year, few steps down onto a lovely beach and can walk along beach to Cromer (45 mins) and Sheringham (20 mins). Facilities not the best though as not much room!

We regularly do Essex to Scotland. Essex A1 > A66 > M74 > Overnight at Strathclyde (or Edinburgh) Caravan Club site. Then in you're case - Strathclyde (or Edinburgh) to Inverness. I'd suggest you go anticlockwise round the NC500 (as we did). 1. West coast of Scotland is far nicer than the East coast. 2. The A9 (from Inverness) in the rain (when we did it) is about as much fun as the A12 westbound on a rainy Monday morning

Love Dorset! South Lychett Manor is a lovely site with a bus stop outside going to Poole or Wareham and Swanage. Lovely pub within walking distance. Bagwell Farm is nice. Norden Farm at Corfe Castle Wareham Forest Touring Park is heavenly but a bit out of the way if you don't have transport. Bingham Grange is adults only. Lovely site nr Bridport Highlands End is on the south west coastal path and within walking distance of beautiful West Bay. These are to name but a few!

You need to find out how much electricity you need to use. The leisure battery is recharged by driving as well, so if you are planning on moving around a lot, or only wild camping for weekends, then you are less likely to need solar panels than if you are staying in one place for long periods of time. You need to find out how much current the oxygen concentrator uses. Also, does your mother need it all the time, or just sometimes (eg at night)? If only sometimes, can you estimate how many hours in a day. Also, is it VITAL she has it, or just good? (If it's vital, you have to make sure there's enough spare capacity in case something goes a bit wrong). Something like the Inogen G2 says it uses 10A on 12V. So, If that's used 24 hours a day, it'll use 240Ah in a day. So, just for that, you'd need 500Ah of battery capacity, which is a lot (5 leisure batteries). Plus extra for lighting, TV, heating etc. You could use solar to help out, but whether that would be sufficient would depend on whether you'll be wild camping in winter or only summer, and in which countries (solar will give you less electricity in Scotland in winter than in Spain in summer). So, we need a bit more information to be able to help, really.

If its walking you’re after you cant beat Gwern Gof Isaf, Capel Curig. It’s one of the oldest established continuously open camp sites in the UK. Open 365 days a year. I’ve been going with tent or camper for nearly 50 years. http://www.gwerngofisaf.co.uk

Glen Nevis Campsite, at the foot of Ben Nevis, great views and excellent facilities, you'll need to check availability.

Rothiemurchus or Glenmore in Cairngorm ( not sure if any space ). Aberfoyle in the Trossachs. Nothing open unfortunately near Ben Nevis. Not sure through of Red squirrel in Glencoe. Wild camping: there are a couple of spots along Loch Eil/Linnhe on A 861 to Strontian with views over to Ben Nevis. We have also parked in the 'Lower Falls' carpark in Glen Nevis with no hassle. It does say no over night parking but don't think it will be policed this time of year.
