Can anyone recommend an electrician to replace a bathroom extractor fan please. They must be able to provide a certificate for the work.

Taken from electricaltestcertificate.co.ukThe Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate is required for: - Alteration made to an existing circuit (without the change of the protective device) - Addition made to an existing circuit (such as a new socket outlet). A typical use of this certificate would be when a new lighting point is added to an existing circuit.

James Woods Woody is a electrician and said as its only a direct replacement on a lighting circuit a certificate isn't needed as it isn't an addition
