If you are disabled can you get SSI (Supplimental Security Income) from Social Security? If you can get that you should qualify for medicaid. Just a thought. Declan gets that and it makes medicaid easier. Be very careful with La Medicaid. Bayou Health offers about 6 choices but only a few of them are any good. We use United Healthcare? They accept it in Houston. Maybe Mayo would accept one of them?

I believe they would have to get "accepted" which is quite a task, but they would be sitting in front of the best Docs in my opinion. Another thought would be Cleveland Clinic. Equally the "best".

I like Dr Esparza- very knowledgable, personable and looks at patient as a whole not just from neuro standpoint.

I agree^. I love Dr. Gonzalez but if you are wanting another opinion Dr. Esparza is great. I don't care for Dr. Loh, his colleague there, but I've worked with Dr. Esparza many times and he has always been wonderful.:) Hope you get some answers. So sorry to hear this:(

A specific dr Natalie Sherako Johnson - my primary, but the letter I got says that I will no longer be accepted as a patient with Pinnacle Medical Group. Criminy - you'd think I committed a crime or something!!

I do have another one that I found that is really good - Dr Head at Oaks Medical - he takes a lot of time with you & takes time to see what is wrong - only negative - he doesn't go to the hospitals.
