Dr. Becky at Route 66 vet clinic on the west side. Used her for 7 years now. Annual shots. and examination $150. Routine clinic visit and lab was $50. Our dog thankfully doesn't have any serious medical issues. She does have environmental allergies that cause her to itch A LOT! Sometimes she can break the skin and get a skin infection which gets treated. She's a 10 lb Shih Tzu, but I've seen large dogs and farm dogs at her clinic.

I drive to Marshfield. My dogs share an appointment, depending on the vaccinations due that day the total is $50 to $75. But then you've got the flea and tick meds, heartworm, etc and that runs a few hundred a year for big dogs. No way around that though. I do think rural vets that are also making money on livestock visits are going to be cheaper and more practical for non-routine stuff like surgeries for older dogs. I don't get pressured into high dollar procedures and when we do need work done its cheaper than I expect.

I take my dog to VCA Parkcrest on Republic Rd. Wellness checkups are about $50, fecal tests are about $45, vaccines range from $20-40 ish. Overall I pay about $250 a year for my medium-large dog. They also have an app that you can use to schedule appointments, set dosing reminders, and see when your pet is due for any shots. You can also access their records and invoices. They'll link all of your pets to the same account so you can access they're records without having to call them. Everyone I've met there is super nice as well.

I don’t have the exact totals but I know they would answer over the phone when they open Monday. I love country club vet, have used them for years. I currently take a small dog but in the past have brought a large dog and cats

It’s a bit out of the way, but Cobblestone Veterinarian in Nixa are fantastic! We’ve never had any issues with them, they’ve always been willing to go above and beyond for us, they’re extremely friendly. We have a black lab who is just a year old and we’ve done all of our shots and a pretty rough case of kennel cough. I’d recommend them for anyone. They’re pretty cheap. I think our shots were around 70$ and just a check up is 30$ ish.

I go to Deerfield Veterinary for my cat. I've gone there for about 6 years. I don't think I've ever spend more than $150 on check ups with annual shots. The staff there are kind and they remember me and my cat even when we haven't been there in months. I live in an entirely different part of the city than I did when I started going there, and it's always worth the drive.

I use Republic Animal Hospital in Republic. My cat got sick and needed immediate attention and daily care between a normal vet and the emergency vet. Dr. Ferguson was the only vet I could get to take her in that didn’t give me a “our earliest appointment date will be next week.” She’s been great with my pets ever since.
I do not, however, recommend taking your pet to the emergency vet clinic unless you absolutely have to.
As for price, I don’t really have a total. It really varies per visit and issue. We just took our new cat in for diarrhea issues and with the visit, special food, probiotic medicine, a medicine for making his poop more solid, plus worm medicine... that cost around $100-150 if I recall.
Edit: a word.

Route 66 Pet Clinic is inexpensive and a very good place to take your animals.

Tractor Supply - most shots are available as a bundle with needle & syringe for ~$7. I use an Excel spreadsheet to track when each shot is due! (2 dogs, 1 cat) If you don't know how to give a shot, pay a local ag sci student to give you a quick lesson :)

Check out Deerfield vet clinic. We're long term clients there and you can pretty much say the doctors there treat you like family!

We typically do vaccines at a Humane Society or Rescue One clinic. Then obviously take them to the vet if needed.
