I have a great guy in Orange I've known for years - Clyde Sopp. He is off Katella and the 55. Drew Boudreau can vouch for him, too. He has worked with independent contractors and actors and small business owners for years. I started having to use a CPA last year to deal with business expenses/my grandmother's estate. If you can maneuver through TurboTax and file yourself, that's always the cheapest route! But it also helps to have a CPA on there if you're counting a lot of deductions, and he can help you through all those really well. He is super patient and reasonable. And funny.

We had great luck with the company who just did our kitchen and bathroom remodel, but I don't know if they do second stories or not. They seemed to know people for every type of job though. It was HR Kitchen & Bath & More, 951-314-8014 or 562-201-6587. Gustavo was the contractor and Marco was his business partner.
