Anyone know of great REALLY affordable wedding venues, or bridal shops? I went to a few places for wedding dresses today and the used dress stores I just wasn't liking...

Bridal shows are a really great option to find low cost dresses. Although https://www.facebook.com/57149201009 David's Bridal can be low cost, the customer service and quality sometimes matches the price point. That's not to say you can't find what you're looking for there, it just isn't a place I want to visit ever again. Online, JJ's House (https://m.jjshouse.com/Cheap-Wedding-Dresses-c2#pageview_1492812140801) is very low cost. Of course, there's also risk to ordering online. My friend had all of the bridesmaids order through them. My dress turned out quite nice. She had us pick our style and she picked our color so everyone would match.
If you are looking for a place to hold the wedding and reception Clear Creek Community Center is great. I've seen many different set ups there for weddings and it is affordable! So many places in this area charge a lot of money!! The club house will even give you additional time to access the building for setting up (as long as no one else is renting the space right before your scheduled rental time ;)). The building is clean, two stories with lots of parking. It used to be an old schoolhouse so has lots of charm upstairs. Ask for Marion Bond she runs the building and has great ideas for setting up for ceremony and for holding the reception. Has a full kitchen downstairs. congratulations!

As far as venues, contact Shelby Nelson at the Point Casino. They have a few venues that are quite affordable, including the lovely Heronswood Gardens.

I have a beautiful size 18 red couture gown, very unique and embellished with grade A crystal bling...I am a local private florist who can help you with your flowers on the cheap! Also, if you are having a spring or summer wedding, the Manchester state park had and old military ammo shelter that is beautiful for weddings...super cheap too! Island lake is another good one, or The Oyster Bay inn on Kitsap way has a pretty nice conference room with water view that can be rented...pm me for more info, I have been doing weddings here for about 20 yrs.

https://www.facebook.com/1773664842868628 Fox Island Chapel On Echo Bay can be reserved for $1000 or less IF you're not set on a Friday or Saturday. It's more on those days. Beautiful location. My friend had her wedding there and it was gorgeous. Fox Island is just outside of Gig Harbor.

Genie Chapman Pruitt might be able to help on the venue side of things.
