Anyone know of good, not expensive (arm and a leg, maybe just an arm) dog trainers? My nephew just got a puppy and I'm looking for a dog training to house train him....

I agree with the above comments, but one other suggestion. Try to find a dog 4-H group. It is a great way for kids to learn. Contact them at (360) 337-7162 • kitsap.county4 h@wsu.edu.

Noelle Ritter Naturally Four Paws. Great trainer. Housebreaking: Take pup out every half hour. Say the same phrase every time. Something like "go potty!". Praise, praise, praise as soon as the pup does. Do this a hundred times a day, patiently, for as long as it takes. Usually only a few days. (Saying the phrase comes in handy later, for example, when stopping on a road trip. Hop out of car, say "go potty" and your pup will do his or her thing in a timely manner. )

Crate train and take out every two to three hours, more frequently when playing. 10-15 min after eating. If they don't go they go back in the crate if they do then puppy can stay out and play for a bit. Noel Ritter is a great trainer and I met her when I did 4-h which is a fun thing to consider.

Noel, Josette, Jamie, Olivia at Camp Union are all great dog trainers! We refer back and forth with one another often and some of us work on some dogs together. Before you buy a shock collar or other device please consult with one of us/them. Molly Timko is another wonderful trainer in our area to consider.
Looking for a behavioral dog trainer with experience. Any leads would be lovely!

Lisa Ridens (contact info here: http://lisaridens.thedogtrainer.org/?SiteID=5011&PageID=20138). I worked with her to help my dog, as a puppy, get better socialized and overcome some of his fear toward everything. I highly recommend her, as I know others will too.

Rick Maples in Seabeck, my rescue dog was out of control when The got her, we got in "trouble" to where she was almost confiscated, I was at my wit's end. I called him actually crying not knowing what to do. He's most definitely the only choice
