Hey everyone, I'm moving to Brevard in a couple weeks and will need internet service. Any suggestions? My house is out near the Brevard Music Center.

You might also check with Mountain Internet Service. They provide service to the Transylvania Heritage Museum, 189 West Main St., which is a great place to learn about your new community. You might want to go on one of their walking tours, http://www.brevardwalkingtours.com.
Gerry A. replied:
Mountain Internet also is our provider and is wonderful. FYI- They do Internet but not cable.

Has anyone out there tried the Dish Network Internet service? How has it been? I am among those who are very tired of the poor service provided by Comporium!

Hi Pedro, there are lots of discussions on Internet service on this page, down below, Search "internet" and you will see lots of info. As for us, we use and love Mountain Internet. Ask me or Peg about it.

Any recommendations for Internet service in cedar mountain?
Comporium is DSL and offers limited strength. Unfortunately, that may be our only choice.
Thx all !

I need an ISP update. I live in Comporium's DSL-only area where browsing speeds are from the 1990s. Any good alternatives for high speed internet services? Are you...
Jessalyn I. replied:
I moved up to an area that comporium doesn't even offer Internet services at all. I now use Skyrunner. They have different speed and data packages. I have the fastest option with 250GBs a month and don't have a problem. Occasionally if a storm gets really really bad it will cut out. The other cool thing about them is it is only 50 cents per GB if you go over your limit.
