Please could anyone give any personal recommendations for a gas central heating boiler installer? We've had an expensive quote from British Gas, which I'm sure we can...
Give Phil a call on 07745 848762. He's gas safe and highly rated on check a trade. Very reasonably priced too.

Dave Hoskins 07860. 606968 only lives on valley fields he sorted us out him and his workers. He wasn’t expensive fits Worcester boilers and because he registered us we have free cover for 10 years parts and labour. This service we were paying corgi £25 a month for with our previous boiler and ended up with 3 leaks 1 resulted with us having a flooded garage the 2 nd leak resulted with us haven’t no hotwater or heating for 8 days over Xmas last year and the third leak they never managed to sort out we just kept emptying the bucket for 6 weeks, Dave replaced the boiler then spent a day unblocking radiators. He was very respectable price wise. We are very happy.
Our boiler has gone down tonight so no hot water or heating! - does anyone know a gas engineer who could come out before Xmas?? My 93 yr old dad lives with us and...

Can anyone advise on the best heating for a conservatory? Pros and cons for radiators, air to air and under floor heating please.
Eric T. replied:
We have had our under tiled floor electric thermostatically controlled Conservatory heating as a part of my specification given to companies who were going to quote since the year before we decided on a company and ours was built 12 years ago. It's BRILLIANT, wouldn't have anything else!! You walk in and take your shoes off, sitting on it if you like rather than the chairs even if it's -15 degrees C outside..........it's just amazing!! Yes it's not cheap to run, but we decided when we were going to have a conservatory that unlike so many people we knew we wanted to be able to comfortably use our conervatory 12 months of the year if we were going to spend £15K on it !!! So it's North facing with every window opening during the summer, and, with the best double glazing that was available and underflloor heating for the winter.
Thought I'd found a solution to our problem but apparently not.. any one good with heating/plumbing/boilers who could spare a couple of minutes to give me some advice I...
