I used an osteopath called Monika Wiesenthal in stockwood when my back/hips/neck etc were shot to pieces last year - she's built like a German shot putter but knows her stuff & fixed me! Let me know if u want her number. Also there's a chiropractor called Matthew who practices from the willow surgery near page park. Hope u get it sorted. Xx

Hilary I. replied:
Bedminster Family Practice has always been OK for me, but I don't go very often!
Raggs H. replied:
Gaywood house surgery on north street under the big block of flats. Dr Weil and dr Kessler both really good.
Alejandra C. replied:
Gaywood House is not the best but the best dr. is Blythe. is the only one with common sense, all the rest horrible.
Paola D. replied:
This is interesting as we are with Gaywood and very happy there (Dr Goodger is ace and fantastic with kids) but was thinking of moving to Southville as was on British Rd and now on Stackpool Rd. From these comments I think I may stay where we are.
Jacqui H. replied:
Dr Goodyer at Gaywood is amazing
Jennifer S. replied:
Southville Surgery is good!
Amy H. replied:
I used to be at Gaywood house (until I moved) and they were brill! Doctor Goodger in particular x

Malago Surgery
Kelly S. replied:
Don't go to Bedminster Family Practice since moving they have been terrible. You have to be on your death bed to get an appointment unless you are one of their regulars.
Hi all - we're new to the area and looking for a GP in the Hamilton Road area of Southville - any recommendations? Thanks
John T. replied:
Gaywood House Surgery in North Street. I've always found them very good

Can highly recommend Gaywood House Surgery.

Gaywood House
Mair G. replied:
Malago Surgery - provide all sorts of services and have brilliant doctors
Elizabeth P. replied:
Southville Surgery have closed the lists to all new patients.
Naomi H. replied:
I'm with Bedminster Family Practice and have been all my life (they used to be on Dean Lane). Although the docs/staff are great,I wouldn't recommend as you can wait up to two weeks for an appointment. Would recommend Gaywood House instead as you can usually get an appt the next day and they seem pretty good.

Merrywood practice at William Budd health centre. Walk in gp appointment every morning. Thoroughly recommend them.
Jo K. replied:
I managed to get the last appointment with Malago yesterday but at the BS1 surgery. That was repeat ringing from 8:30 - 8:40. 10 minutes and all appointments gone. It really is ridiculous
Emma W. replied:
Crest family practice are really good! They have moved from St Johns lane up to knowle health park which is a shame as I now have to drive... but you can always get same day appts (if you genuinely need one) and of not the prebookable ones are normally that week or the following.
Does anyone have any recommendations for GP surgeries in bedminster? With Gaywood house at the moment but it's pretty poor so looking to change.
Annmarie C. replied:
Hi. I'm in St John's Lane Health Centre. Appointments are pretty hard to get with long waiting time, think it's generally the same everywhere. xx
Emily M. replied:
I'm with Bedminster Family Practice, always found them pretty good, if you can get on their books that is!
Jen C. replied:
I changed to Southville centre after recommendations from two friends and awful treatment at Gaywood House. I would definitely recommend it - if you call them, they usually have an idea of when their list will reopen
