Locals: I am looking for a family doctor or pediatrician for my children. This doctor needs to be tolerant of our choice to delay vaccinations. Prefer a more holistic...
Jennifer F. replied:
Dr James Schrenker in Bristol. 423 990-2466
Becky W. replied:
This person in Bristol would know of holistic doctors in the area..http://www.allyforachievement.com/index.html
Sara W. replied:
Ashley-Let me know if you find anything--we are also looking. We currently go to Highlands Pediatrics and Dr. Johnston tolerates (respectfully disagrees with) our delayed vaccination schedule.
Leslie P. replied:
Mountainview Peds in Marion has a osteopathic doc on staff.
Sheri B. replied:
Ashley Rollins Ahn, we used to use Mtn View. I wasn't pleased. Maybe you'd have a different experience. Definitely not holistic.

Alicen B. replied:

Do not go to Dr. Rollan in Abingdon. They are not nice to the kids and they treated me like an idiot and accused me of not caring for Levi's teeth properly.
Megan B. replied:
Pillion & Smith Pediatric Dental Associates in Bristol!
Brittany S. replied:
Pillion & Smith in Johnson City is where Kenzie goes and she loves them. We are actually here now for a visit with Dr. Smith.
Who remembers where Uncle Sams pawn shop was.....well on same side of the street there was a pediatrician office upstairs anyone remember that and his name?
Patricia W. replied:
It was called the Central Building and the entrance was on 6 th Street also an entrance through Coles/Revco which faced State. There were actually many doctors offices in that building. Minor's Drug was downstairs facing 6 th. That was my hang-out when I was growing up. My aunt worked for several of the doctors that had offices there. The first one was Dr, Mongle and when he went to the military, she went to work for Dr. Joe Bachman and I coujld go on and on.
Paula F. replied:
Was Dr Graves one of the Doctors that worked in that building?
Jeff J. replied:
Dr Brinkley?
Patricia W. replied:
I think Dr. Graves might have been there but if I am not mistaken Dr. Brinkley had an office upstairs over Bristol Drug.
Patricia W. replied:
Dr. Carrerres, the eye, ear, nose and throat was there and Dr. Ellis, the dentist once had an office there.
Kathy S. replied:
Many good memories of Dr. Brinkley. He was my doctor when I had my boys. After office visit and weigh in went to Woolworth's for what they called a plate lunch. Those were the good old days.
