What kind of tattoo do you want? Do you have a design/image already chosen, or do you want someone who will draw it for you? Do you want something small or a large piece that covers a whole area? How much are you willing to spend? The best bet is to find people whose tattoos you like, and ask them where they got it and if they like the artist. But if it is something small or you know exactly what you want, it doesn't matter where you go-- I mean, don't go to some dirty basement, but most of the tattoists in Brno can follow directions; Planet Tattoo or Mysteria for example. If you want something big and dramatic, then look at Miro (great at faces), Ondrash (watercolor abstracts) (as Dany recommended), etc.

They require a deposit of 1000 Kc up front; you might be best to just go in person and talk to them.
