I agree Stoneyard Brewing on the canal too. Went once & the special was a strip steak with mashed potatoes for $10.99!!!! Wasn't too crazy about Fazools and a lot more expensive, but maybe we just hit it wrong. I liked the atmosphere though.

Depends how far you are willing to drive. Dinosaur BBQ and sticky Lips is in downtown Rochester. Well known. Next village over is Spencerport. It has Grandpa Sam's Italian kitchen and highly popular with the locals. Texas BBQ joint also opened up and I hear good things about it. You can always check out Yelp.com (or its app) as it is a customer based review on places to eat, etc. Best of luck.

I believe Bad Apple has a groupon if interested. Spencerport has a GREAT bbq place on Union called Texas BBQ.

Oh yeah! Texas BBQ in Spencerport is the best... About 12 min from BKPT... You can't go wrong there!

There are a few nice places but they are a little bit of a drive. Springside Inn on West Lake Rd in Auburn by Owasco Lake, The Sherwood Inn on Skaneateles Lake. There may be some nice places around the finger-lakes at some of the wineries.
