Werwin Memorial in Brighton/Allston. They only charge for medication, no doctor fees. Check their times and get there an hour before opening. It’s first come first serve.... a long wait.
Stephanie P. replied:
If you have a car I would go to Merwin hospital in Brighton/Allston they don’t charge doc fees and you only pay for the medicine they administer. So normally I pay like 25-35$ . Certain days do have waits so make sure you go on a day where you aren’t crunched for time.
The Animal Rescue League's Spay Waggin makes regular trips to Brockton. They're very reasonable and the spay/neuter charge includes giving them the shots they need. You can schedule an appointment here; https://www.arlboston.org/services/spay-waggin/

Maybe a little more of a drive for you, I have three dogs and a cat, and our family vet is Abington Animal Hospital. Very reasonable, great vets, great staff. Only knock I have to them is that they are so busy. But I guess that also means they are good at what they do.

South Coastal Animal Hospital. Great prices, great staff and clean. Abington animal hospital is dirty, staff is rude and the veterinarians misdiagnose all the time....at least 3 times with my cats. You never see Jack anymore, even when you make an appt to see him.

Boch Toyota screwed my mom too told her she had water damage and it would be 2600 to fix problem because during the winter leaves and crap blocked ac. Then they called her after 2 days and said that they cleaned the water damage but it was gonna bring the total up to $4000 because they had to fix blockage and they may as well do it now while car was all taken apart. When she was told they would fix it for $2600 which I thought was too much but the warranty was up a couple months before and my dad had bought her the car her first brand new car she's ever had my dad promised her he would get her one someday he passed away 3 months later. So they knew all of that and took advantage of a 70 yr old woman

West bridgewater has a service there that u basically get a credit card but it's through them and it can be up too 500 1000 whatever ur credit says u can get and use it same time as u fill out application seconds later on visit and then pay that off slowly and the fees are still anyways cheapest around in massachusettes by far I had the same problem months ago with my dog cause I was low on funds had too do that before my dogs issue with her ears got very bad west bridgewater animal hospital
Is there anywhere to get your dog and cat fixed for free. And and any vet that's not to expensive for shots?
Terri T. replied:
The Animal Rescue League of Boston brings their Spay Waggin' services to Brockton on a regular basis. It's not free but it's very low-cost. They'll not only spay/neuter but will give any needed vaccines. Contact them to register: http://www.arlboston.org/services/spay-waggin/
Sue M. replied:
Have you looked into pet insurance? We just got Embrace and they covered 100% of her spay under the wellness plan, it's a little costly but you can cut the coverage down anytime, it will cover all her heart worm and flea/tick meds and shots as well as a bunch of other stuff. There are a bunch of different plans and companies. If it's not an option try calling the ASPCA, they can refer to to a clinic and point you in the right direction for a voucher. Also Pet Supplies Plus at Westgate has clinics every weekend for shots and microchips
Nikole G. replied:
Merwin clinic is low to no cost. I believe they run on donations. It can be a pain because they have certain hours and it's first come first served so there's a wait when you get there but worth it of you need a low cost visit. It's in Allston I believe.
Looking for a low-cost neuter in the area. SpayWaggin is booked all of June. Bridgewater Vet clinic is $500 as is Abington. This includes all shots and a visit. ...
