The Jack Newman clinic should do lip ties. Is there any way you can mention this to your doctor or midwife and see if they have any suggestions?

If you are part of a breast-feeding clinic in town, either the health unit or Robin's clinic, they will have suggestions and some moms in the group may have been through it, i've only had one client with the experience and they went down to Dr. Newman's clinic

My son had his tongue done by Dr. Newman! We had it done at the midwives office in Alliston. I don't know if he still goes there or not but much closer for you if he does.

The dentist in town that does it is Dr. Dan from Credit Creek Dental - he uses a laser. The advantage to doing it that way is there is almost no recovery time. He had 1 baby who was eating before they even left the office. Doing it through OHIP with a doctor, they will cut and there is a lot of blood etc but withthe laser it instantly cauterizes the cut so there is no bleeding, less risk of infection and quick recovery. It will be a fee (you'd have to talk with them about it) but they could do it really quickly without a long wait to see a doctor etc. Just call them and at least get the info 519-940-1119

I had my daughters clipped by Dr Riddell in town. We didn't get it diagnosed until 6 months so we has to wait to get it clipped (under 3 months they don't put them under). PM me if you'd like.

I also got my daughters done by Dr. Riddell. My daughter was 8.5 months and we had to get it done at the alliston hospital as she had a thick one that would need stitches and they had to put her under for 30 seconds.

Hi there I would consider the Doctors breastfeeding clinic in Brampton. Much closer and covered by OHIP. (There is a fee for Dr. Newman). They can also get you in within 48 h. Or like others have suggested Dr. Riddell in town.

Dr Riddell. All the way! You will have to go through your dr though. Just tell them he isn't latching and would like to see the ear nose throat specialist!

I would definitely call Dr Riddell. My daughter had a tongue tie that we got released in August, the specialist for that was in Cambridge.

we've seen Dr. Kim Hansen for many many years....always great with the kids...and with me!

I went to Kim when I was a kid and always remembered the looooong wait times. My Dentist in Ottawa was super fast. Kim Hansan is a really good dentist though.

I know it is not in Prescott, but a short drive to Brockville to Boardwalk and you will be in the hands of some amazing people and a caring atmosphere. Husband and wife owned, modern equipment and very relaxing. Highly suggested (613)342-9333 Good luck

Try the one at the medical center. Dr. Sandu is her name...at least I think that's how it's spelled.

Dr. Helen is her name in Kemptville..and its the Creekside Dental Clinic is the name

Dr. Kamdi Irondi. He's a friend of mine. The clinic is on Park St. You wouldn't be disappointed!!:)

I have one in Prescott.. Dr. Macintosh.. He is Awesome..I can't say enough about him. He is Great.!!!

I went to Boardwalk dental for a year while I was at SLC. They were and are still amazing to me. Incredible patient care and they really go above and beyond. They even came to see me in shows:P
