Have you left messages with any vets? I go to the Beaver Valley Animal Clinic. She's very compassionate and they have an emergency number. I've been able to give post dated checks before.

Jessie Holt, I left a message with Selkirk vet in Nelson to call me back - KAAP will pay if they will do it. Can you take kitty home to bury her? Cremation is really expensive but we would pay for the euthanasia

Trent B. replied:
Yes Nelson Animal Hospital and perhaps Beaver Valley Vet. I'm so sorry. God Speed to your guy.
Laura S. replied:
Thanks everyone! He is resting comfortably for most of the day -- the sun and warmth helped. And extra aspirin seems to have taken off the edge. Chris Chart will be able to come on Monday afternoon, so won't have to load the big nervous traveler into the car. This feels like the right decision, and we will spoil him this weekend.

Castlegar Animal hospital, by far. It's next to Thirsty Duck. Realize it's not in Trail, but worth the extra 20 min drive. Compassion, honesty, and genuine staff. I might live by a vet clinic in Trail, but I still prefer Castlegar.
