If you aren't set on essix retainers, you might want to ask your Ortho about getting a permanent retainer. It's more costly up front, but lasts ages.

They’re not orthodontists, but I have a mouthguard from Smile Art Dental - they might be able to do retainers too. They’re fantastic dentists and reasonably priced for things like that.
