Didn't like Countyline Animal Hospital at all. Dr. MacMahon didn't even care about my dog. I highly recommend Dr. Kern at Advanced Pet Care on Spring Hill Drive. This doctor really goes above and beyond and is one of the smartest vets I have ever used.

Go to Banfield Animal Hospital. There is one on the corner of 54 and little Road in the pet smart. They have wellness plans that you pay a small amount monthly and it covers all their checkups, vaccinations, and can even cover their dental cleanings and flea and tick preventions. Saves me a ton of money!!!! There is also one in Spring Hill's PetSmart

It is a long drive, but I went to Gulfport Veterinarian in Gulfport, FL and they used to let me give them post dated checks when we didn't have the money at the time of the procedures. Their prices were amazing too! I loved going to them. We don't have any dogs or cats currently, so we haven't been there in years.

(UPDATE) I just got back from the Vet at San Francis Veterinary Hospital on County Line road. Sandy does have mature cataracts. They said that she does have a little vision, mostly on the sides. She responded to the Dr waving on the sides of her eyes b ut not in the front. She also tried dropping a cotton ball to see her reaction which was minimal. They are doing blood work to see if she is diabetic and I will know in 1-3 days. I do feel better knowing what is happening to her, but my heart is broken that she can't see. It's going to be very difficult leaving her with anyone or boarded for any period of time now. I can't see myself doing that in the near future. Of course if she is diabetic it will be a special diet and insulin 2 x a day. If she isn't diabetic the Dr said most cases are inherited. Cataract Surgery is not possible right now, but she will have it done, if and when I can afford it. I give a 2 thumbs up for Dr Littlejohn and the staff. They were great and reasonably priced as well!
