Anyone know of a good obgyn in Brunswick or Darien that accepts Peach State health plan? Preferably a pro-breastfeeding doctor please....
Amber K. replied:
Dr. Goodman
Kimberly R. replied:
Dr Goodman she is great
Jennifer R. replied:
Dr Jason Joseph. There's like 5 other doctors in the office. Great even with my teenager, they make u feel really comfortable
Amanda Z. replied:
I like Dr. Gowen. For a breast feeding friendly pediatrician go with Dr. Goodman because they have an IBCLC in office. That's and internationally board certified lactation consultant. Basically a top dog in the breast feeding world.
Dale J. replied:
Darrin Strickland was my dr for 10 years until I moved away. He is awesome!
Elizabeth L. replied:
Dr. Brock has delivered all of mine. He is in the office with Strickland and Joseph.
Amanda Z. replied:
Milky Mommas. It's a private group and can't be searched. If you do a search a milky Mommas profile will come up. If you add that then they will add you to the group.:-)
Cheryl G. replied:
Dr Shirley Wilson

Dr. Strickland for sure!!!

Midwife Group and Birthing Center in Savannah! I'm fairly certain they accept all insurance. That's where I had both my girls and I live in Brunswick. Do love Ms.Debbie in Dr. Goodman's office. Also like his wife, I use her for my yearly.

Not sure why those are your only options with Blue Cross. I use Dr. Steven Williams as my GP, and he is in the BCBS network. Not familiar with the other doctors.

I go to Dr. Jennifer Miller, her office number is 267-4900. I also have BCBS

Dr. Thompson! Been using him since Jacob was born!

Tarra, didn't you used to use Dr. Thompson? That's who we use and really like him.
Mandy W. replied:
Dr. Goodman & Debbie .... Amanda Swain Ashworth suggested this practice to me while at baseball almost 5 years ago and I am so glad she did. It's sad to say but I really had no idea what we were missing out on for almost 10 years at a different practice. Both boys love them and even when sick they are ok w going.
Tarra B. replied:
Melissa Vicent we used Doctor Cooper and then he moved away. And we are using Dr. Pavlou she is in with Dr. Thompson. She only works part time which is not easy for me and my family when we need something. We have been at that practice for nine years.
Melissa V. replied:
I see. Is Dr. Thompson not taking new patients? If not, when Dr. Pavlou is not available, could you not ask to see Dr. Thompson? What do they suggest you do? I'm sure they don't want to lose patients to another pediatrician!
Tarra B. replied:
I tried to change over to Dr. Thompson when Dr. Cooper left and he wasn't taking any patients!
looking for a really good doctor's practice/surgery! just incase i need one :) i live near burrell's wharf. recommendations please
Ana B. replied:
Glynis I like very much Doctor Noble at Island Health. The Surgery sometimes is a bit busy but this GP is so good that worth it.
Wendy D. replied:
I would avoid Dockland's Medical Centre on Spindrift Road at all costs! We moved to the Barkantine and I'm very happy with the service.
David P. replied:
The Doctors (and Nurses and other staff for that matter) at Island Health are really good, the issue here is that it is very difficult to get an appointment at short notice.
Shirley W. replied:
We are very happy with Docklands Medical Centre on Spindrift
Lynn R. replied:
Barkantine Health centre
Paulette I. replied:
Island Health hasn't let us down in 25 years!
Irene W. replied:
I totally agree with Ana LĂdia Abrantes Bona. Dr Noble is great though its hard to get an appointment with him unless you book about 4 weeks in advance!! We have been with Island Helath for a good number of years now and have been happy with them so far. And, yes it gets super busy at times and can be frustrating when you call in to get an emergency appointment for that day.
Looking around for a GREAT primary care physician around the Brunswick- Glynn County area through local recommendations & positive reviews!
