I think Basic Fit has a fitness center in Ledeberg. For trains, check www.nmbs.be (they have English also), a store that is open around 20:00 would be difficult, maybe IKEA? I don't know about an English speaking vet but mine is great, Recolettenlei 10, not sure if she speaks English (Dr. Heughebaert). Also can't help with language tips as I am Dutch:)
