Did you get the plant that all the locals use by the beach, ask if you don't know. Put it in hot water or make a poltis and put it on the sting. It works. Then go get tetanus shot and antibotics from a doctor, if you have swelling or pain. My husband got stung in Dec. he saw Dr Victor

stick your foot in the hottest water you can tolerate.....when the water starts to cool....repeat .....not sure if Dr. Mauro's clinic in Centro would be open today or not......there is another one on the lateral on the northbound side of the hiway near Famar restaurant...but again not sure of sunday hours. Bit start soaking for sure

It would depend on if it's an emergency or not, as well as if it's minor (flu) or more serious. For anything minor, I see Dr. Mauro in centro Bucerias. For anything more serious, I contact Pam Thompson-Webb as she's the medical guru in the bay. She will set up anything needed with specialists/labs/etc.

If you are in Bucerias, see Dr. Rafael Ipiña. He will recommend the appropriate hospital, if necessary, and see it through with specialists. I like Dr. Mauro for quick visits, but anything more than that, Dr. Ipiña is there. We called him at 11 pm on a Sunday night and he coordinated the EMTs, hospital and specialist. And yes, he speaks English. He is located in the strip by Los Amores next to Paninos on the 200.

I say you talk to Pam Thompson-Webb. She's the the go to person and knows many goog, reputable doctors in PV.

Dr. Mauro in centro if it's something minor. If there is something more serious, I would ask Pam Thompson-Webb who to go to. She is the local "medical guru" and will send you to who is best for different problems.

Why do People Travel to Mexico or anywhere out of their own Country without Medical Insurance, you can get it before you leave.

Dr. Rafael....can't remember his last name though sorry. He is at the 24 hr medical travel clinic on the left side of the highway beside the Oxxo when you are coming from LaCruz, just as you enter Bucerias. He is great.

Dr. Victor is who we recommend, as well.
