Hi, We upgraded ours about 4 years ago and used Linden Gas Services for the supply and installation. Very happy with the service they provided and would recommend them. It's a Johnson & Starley warm air unit. It wasn't cheap but considering we were replacing the original boiler (over thirty years old) I hope to only do it once!

This company is the biggest manafacturer of warm air heaters in the UK and could suggest an installer in this area. http://www.johnsonandstarley.co.uk As a plumber I would strongly advise going for a modern and efficient gas boiler, yes you will have to fit radiators too, but with the sheer volume of plumbers and engineers in this area you can be certain of getting competitivr quotes.

Hi Gary...my 'Hubby' Colin Brinn Plumbing & Heating Buckingham is gas safe warm air registered and has worked on warm air in Buckingham for approx 30 yrs and has replaced units before.It can be done but in comparison to installing a new condensing radiator system whether conventional or combi it is less efficient in terms of running costs.Hope this helps.

Smart Gas Limited. Don't know how busy they are this time of year, but they fixed my boiler in 3 hours. Explained to me what was wrong, rang for part, went to collect it and returned all in same day. Very kind, efficient. Will use again. I had been let down by others recommended here. Left for a week and a half with no contact. To make matters worse, I am disabled so in house a lot. However neither company knew this. Smart Gas Limited was far superior.
