Barber shop recommendation? I'm looking for a good barber shop in Buffalo, either an old-school type place or a more hipster kind of shop. I just need to find a place...

[Jonny the Barber](http://www.jonnythebarber.com/), one of the best in the area. He has a shop on Main St in Williamsvile and is opening up another one off of Delaware. Here is his [instragram](https://instagram.com/jonnythebarber/). He has a 2-3 week waiting list so make an appointment quickly.
Jim Lang's on Delavan or Village Cut and Shave on Elmwood.

best place is Ron's Place for hair in Niagara Falls, all the guys there went to barber collage, every hair cut I ever got there was the tits

Good looks on Hertel. Laid back and relaxed. Good to be in a place like that where guys shoot the shit and take pride in there work.

I used to go to Charlie's, but he retired or something. I just go to Chick's now. It's not as real as Charlie's was, but at least it's still in the city.

Sammy's on Kenmore Ave. He's getting up there, but he pays more attention to a haircut than any barber I've ever been to.

Look up Nick at Good Looks on Hertel. Great neighborhood atmosphere and very consistent. I had a bad experience with Jonny the Barber. He just plain ignored what I wanted because he said he knew better and I ended up like everyone else he cuts. He tries to give off a rockstar type cool kid vibe but it just seemed try-hard to me.

Envious, on elmwood next to ashkers, it's more expensive than I would like to pay. If you've got 3 hours to wait while they cut all of their friends ahead of you the elmwood cut and shave does a decent job.
Thanks for adding me to the group. I need a barber in Buffalo that knows how to trim a beard for length. Last Saturday I went to a barber on Kenmore that took 2 months...

I recently became friends with a beardsman in Buffalo who just received a beard trim from a woman who works at a spot on Allen St. Her name is Renee Bandelian. He said he has gone to her a few times and been pleased with the results. He did advise that you have to make sure she does not cut off too much hair. I do not know what she charges.

Lately I've been going to The Village Cut and Shave on Elmwood between Lexington and Highland. I would definitely recommend it, haven't had a bad haircut yet.
Personally I love [Vito's Cut & Style](https://www.google.com/maps?q=vito's+cut+and+style&hl=en&ll=42.947926,-78.863382&spn=0.00955,0.021136&sll=42.947900999999995,-78.863382&hq=vito's+cut+and+style&t=m&z=16) (Different Vito) on Hertle Ave. He's cheap fast and we usually sit and watch CNN and complain about things. Highly recommended.

I've always had great luck with Jim Lang's on Main/W. Delavan.

my dad swears by Lou and Joe on delaware ave. 2830 delaware ave. they're cheap, I think it's like 10 or 15 bucks and the place is kind of cool.
