Thanks EVERYONE!!! Jeffrey Mueller-Of course this is an income generating business! Hospitals and Doctor groups etc...and.. I'm eligible for both eyes, and I'm covered 100% by insurance...They suggested the monovision option...and gave me a contact to wear to try to get used to what it'll be like. Hardly a "hard sell approach"...Would have been a lot easier for them to say I'm a candidate for it but occasionally may need "readers"...then sell the brochure...But they didn't...So I'll try the one contact for a week or two and see how goes... I do a lot of night driving and that's a concern for monovision from my research...Anyway...Thanks again for the replies!
