Does anyone know of a farm convenient to the southtowns that offers high quality eggs at a reasonable price, year round? (Either through a share, or otherwise?) We go...
Kelly S. replied:
Plato dale farm. We have organic brown eggs. Prices are great We pasture raise in summer and organic feed in winter. Eggs all year long!! Call kent at 716 913 1351 or email at kent@platodalefarm.org.
Kelly S. replied:
Plato Dale is in Curriers (just outside of east aurora) but we also are at the horsefeathers market ever Saturday Starting in May we will be at the West Seneca Market on Thursday evenings too

I drove past many down route 62 but I couldn't give you any names, addresses or indications of quality. Cottage Hill Organics in Eden does a veggie CSA and eggs, but when I joined the CSA it was a disaster and with lots of drama... he also sold eggs but I never bought any so I can't speak for the quality.
Wants to know where is the truck that ran over my back while I was sleeping last night. I guess I should never grocery shop again.Way too much lifting, we'll have to eat...

Anybody remember a grocery store/deli on a corner of Beach and Old Lake Shore road? Long time ago...
Brenda P. replied:
I spoke to my mother and the name Stracick wasn't familiar to her. know that Hank from Hank & Leo's is Henry Wieslo who worked at New Era Cap for many years. Leo is his brother. My parents have been in that area since 60'-61' so it might have been before that.

I remember the store in Roat acres too, Lucy Manguso (Csati) and I bought cigs from there, wrote my own note and never forget the name I used, Mrs. Kingston asking for a pack of Lark or Marlboros. I'm sure the clerk knew but sold them anyway! LOL
