We don't get flyers delivered to our home. Does anyone know where I can get them so that I can plan my grocery shopping?
Karen E. replied:
Mississauga News literally pays a few cents/paper to delivery people. The pay is so poor it's hard for them to find delivery people or retain them. Our street hasn't had flyers in 2 years unfortunately.

We are hit and miss with the Loblaws flyer but always get Cdn Tire and No Frills in the mail.
I've been told there is a Korean grocery store in Mississauga called H Mart. Anybody know where it is? I've googled it, I've asked around, and come up with nothing.

HI, does anyone know if there is a service that can deliver purchases from Costco to Port Credit (for a fee)?
and/or a service that does fruit delivery, but won't cost...

No experience with them but there is this company... https://www.gtasupermarket.com/
If you stop building new housing, the cost of existing hosing will go up, not down. Restricting supply increases demand. Increased demand drives up prices and rents.

Port Credit looks wealthy. However I can quickly think of two demographics that aren't wealthy, and can't afford to shop at Loblaws. One, apartment dwellers. I'd guess, without drilling down in the census data there are close to 1,000 rental units that were served by the old No Frills. Many of the people I meet from those units, definitely can't afford to get to Loblaws, much less shop there. Two, the elderly. Yes there are fewer and fewer as they cash in on their real estate, but they still exist. People for whom Port Credit has been home forever, live on a lower fixed income, but still want to live in their own home. The old No Frills may not have been perfect, but they lived up to their name. I experimented once. I did my weekly shopping at Loblaws, and tried to be as parsimonious as possible. $270. The Next week at No Frills, attempting to spend without restraint, $190.

We're not getting affordable housing in port credit. End of story. Anything "affordable" will negatively impact property values, and condo or home owners will never go for that. More Real Estate for sale, means the older, and larger properties will only gain in value. We will not get any type of rental housing, so this argument is moot. If they really wanted to address that issue, they would have made a proposal for it for the development on Miss Rd/Lakeshore, and we all know how that's going.
