Still haven't booked my honeymoon. Wedding is may 20. Is it too late? Does anyone have a good travel agent recommendation for a trip to Italy?

I booked my honeymoon (May 7 th-May 14 th) two weeks ago. I used orbitz and got, what I consider to be, a great deal. They'll book the whole package for you and give you plenty of options. You might also want to look into costco travel. You'll need to have a costco card, but you can still look at prices without it. My friend used them for a trip to london and really enjoyed it.

There's still more than enough time. I usually book international travels 6 weeks in advance. Where in Italy do you want to go? I can totally recommend the Aeolian Islands, Stromboli and Lipari are beautiful. My cousin's wife is a travel agent, if you want to check her out, [here's](https://www.facebook.com/alltravelmatters/) is her facebook page. She's been to Italy so she can give you first hand information, too. :)

We went through [European Destinations](https://www.europeandestinations.com/) for our Italy trip (Rome Florence Venice) and it was great. They book plans, trains and hotels, and we had a great time!

I can't recommend a travel agent, but I'm getting married on May 20 too (yay!) and I haven't booked my honeymoon (likely Germany and Italy) either. It's definitely not too late!

We've done a couple of family vacations to Italy and had our home base near Grosseto (just south of the Tuscan border in a place called Pescia Romana). We stayed in a nice VRBO and its a great jumping off point for visiting Rome (about and 1 hr south) or Pisa, Florence and Siena (1 hr north). What are you looking to do? All inclusive resort with beaches? Italian cultrure? Food?

NurseAngela replied:
We haven't booked yet either but we're not leaving right away!
Nicole-Bolas replied:
Nope! I'm also doing the end of may & just booked our flight today through regular ol' internet channels. You have plenty of time.

If you're a Costco member, I'd seriously recommend checking out their travel section. FH and I went to Italy/Greece last summer and their package was *amazing*.

Hey we're going to Italy too! Where are you from? I'm from Australia and would be happy to give you some recs. I don't think it's too late.

Can't chime in on the planning aspect or the travel agent (haven't started to book mine either). But as to recommendation: I traveled to Cinque Terre a couple years ago during a study abroad and it was amazing. Definitely recommend a couple nights stay there if you head to Italy.
Does anyone know a good travel agent? Local and versed in the Atlanta night life?
Melinda J. replied:
I just watched VH1's The Fabulous Life of Atlanta so I can help. I now know all of the best strip clubs, which rapper has the best pool and which Real Housewife has the best parties.
