For brakes, Western Tire is by far the best and most honest shop there is, but not very cheap. For everything else automotive we use Deed's

If you're willing to trek to Glendale, Auto Trinity is incredible. And the owner, Ed, is a great guy. Over 100 reviews on Yelp and still have a 5 star: https://www.yelp.com/biz/auto-trinity-glendale

Olive Auto Center is a liiittle pricey, but they always tell me what I can get away with not fixing now, what I should fix now, and what I _have_ to fix now, and I appreciate that level of honesty. I've never had the same problem twice in the years I've been going to them. https://www.yelp.com/biz/olive-auto-center-burbank

Anyone recommend a mechanic in Los Angeles county to port/polish my N42? Looking for a mild cam as well...

I spoke with Peter Brock of BRE and he said they used Slovers and Isky cams EXCLUSIVELY...might explain some of why my car pulls so hard. I can not recommend Pierre Z. They have a so so reputation. I was a mazed at some of the things I found on my Z done by them for the previous owner. I have seen more janky things on friends cars.
