I’d recommend using biological washing liquid (Original Bold is good) mixing it with warm (not boiling) water and sponging area then patting it dry with old towel to avoid water marks..I wouldn’t get area too wet & would make solution more concentrated than you’d use to wash clothing - repeat a couple of times if necessary - good luck
