Any recommendations for a dentist who is great with toddlers?

Dr Sheila Wong on Main St is our family dentist. She's amazing with my kids (ages 10,7&2). I believe she did part of her residency at a Children's Hospital in Montreal (I'm not 100% certain so you should inquire about that).

Dr. Marisa D'Angelo at Reflections Dental in the new building at Bronte (Hwy 25) and Dundas. And I'm not just saying this because she is family but because she truly is fantastic with kids.

Milton Pediatric Dentistry. My son was terrified of dentists until going there. He now has braces in place and doesn't mind the dentist at all. Dr. Vino is amazing.

I've been to a couple in Appleby area. Sarah Biro @ CBI was good, sometimes I would see her and a Kinesiologist for $85 for 30 mins. She went on leave so I went to Taran at Healthy Balance Physio (just over the Burloak border) which is $65 for 30 mins. She was also very helpful and really examined the big picture. Chains are usually more expensive than single clinics but it really depends on the therapist how much bang you get for your buck. Good physiotherapy should provide some improvement within 4-6 months. You may be able to go just a handful of times and learn the exercises which would be ideal - a good therapist is thoughtful about self-pay and will try to maximize your home program. Good luck! If worst comes to worst, you can see a Sports Med doc who can prescribe exercises and that visit would be covered by OHIP. Dr. Elliott is excellent (but he needs a referral from your GP). Disclosure: I'm a sports medicine resident physician currently working in Toronto - I have no conflict of interest with my comments above.
