Dentist recommendations near Metrotown? I'm looking for a good dentist near Metrotown area, not necessarily cheap but not somewhere that will try to gouge me with extra...
kunibob replied:
I've been going to Metro Pointe Dental for almost a decade, and I trust them and would recommend them. I see Dr. Cheema, and she's friendly and has never pushed any extra services on me. I can't speak to price comparisons, as I'm lucky enough to have dental coverage, but they were flexible about changing my cleaning schedule/services when I went through a period of no coverage, which I appreciated.

Dr. skolaude was my family dentist for years, and we continued going to him even when we moved out to maple ridge. He's retiring shortly and his daughter is taking over the practice. The office is great, and their staff are very friendly. Plus they don't try to do any superfluous dental work.
SquatMonopolizer replied:
There is a nice family practice near metrotown with a dentist by the name of Dr Sydney Chow. He is reliable and honest and has a oral surgeon on staff one day a week. The office will have a small family feel to it which i like. He will spend more time with you then most dentists as well.
etceteraism replied:
[Gentle Dental](http://drerceg.com/team/), it's in the strip mall next to Metro where the London Drugs is. Dr. Erceg is fantastic and doesn't try to upsell you.
vanyeeha replied:
I've been going to Station Square Dental for many years now. Fortunately for me, it's only been for cleanings so I've only ever had to deal with the dental hygienists there (who are also great). Dentist only comes by for the routine checkup and that's about it. They're pretty thorough and my hygienist does a pretty good job of explaining any areas of concern with my teeth.
Rocky_Loves_Emily_ replied:
Central Park Dental :) I've been going to them for years and they did my wisdom teeth as well.
luongwang replied:
I DO NOT recommend the one nearest BMO. Their equipment is falling apart, they drop appointments, and their hygienists are brutal Go across the street to Ocean. The difference is like night and day.
cdg110 replied:
The one in the mall, next to where Target used to be (I can't recall the name) Been there before, great staff, very comfortable.
Anonymous replied:
Whatever you do, do not go to the dental clinic across from Sephora in Metrotown. Dentists there are complete idiots. Great dental hygienists tho.
Can anyone recommend a good dentist? Moved here this summer looking for a closer dentist, thanks.
mclarenf3 replied:
Been going to Dr. Lubiantaro at the Quay for the last 10-15 years now. He is being replaced with another dentist who has been great so far (only 2 visits so far).
queenofzenk replied:
I'd recommend Newwest Smile Dental right by the hospital. My SO has pretty bad anxiety with dentists and they're really great. I usually dont have to wait that long for an appointment either.
dudemanseriously replied:
100% Dr. D Lovely and associates on 6 th and 6 th. They have the friendliest receptionists and they just renovated their office. I used to have dental anxiety, but every single person that works there makes me feel comfortable. My dentist is Dr.Bass and I recommend him whenever I get a chance!
Gamedeals replied:
Gentle Dental at Royal & 6 th. Best dentist I've ever had.
Darkstryke replied:
Dr. Damji@Artis Dental on 6 th is the best I've ever gone to, and I really hate going to the dentist. No BS up-selling, and the hygienists are great.
