Can anyone recommend a good vegetarian restaurant in the KSU area? Thanks :)
Jeff L. replied:
A few that come to mind... KimMeeJa Veggie Buffeet http://koreabridge.net/listing/kim-mee-ja-vegetarian-buffet (closed on Saturdays) SiSiRi : http://cafe.daum.net/onagagure/No84/122?docid=18NmwNo8412220110730015428 (veg-friendly) I believe there are also veg-friendly options at El Gitano, Otsal, and Table Talk.
Jeff L. replied:
You can find some more options in the Busan Veggie Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/291741024450/ including OSI in KSU and more info about Jack & the Beanstalk https://www.facebook.com/jackandbeanstalkbusan and VeganNarang in Gwangan (need to scroll down a bit).
Any good Busan brunches besides Brunsweek and Cafe Ean?
Matt O. replied:
Cafe Ean changed their menu to get rid of all the sets and make everything more expensive.:(
Jessica N. replied:
There's a place called 'The Plat' in pnu area.. right next to J Square cafe. Haven't tried but pictures show some western style brunch plates. Anyone been there?
Tom S. replied:
re: The Brunch... "Western" breakfast is to be taken with a pinch of salt... sausage and bacon, but also salad and COLD baked beans.... i guess it does mix breakfast and lunch, but don't go expecting a western style all-day breakfast...
Can somebody advise about Thai food restaurant in Busan?
Wendy N. replied:
The only ones I'm currently aware of are Arun Thai in Shinsegae and Hello Thai in Haeundae, but I don't really like either of them. So if you want *ok* Thai food those are the only options I know of.
Miriam P. replied:
Arun Thai has a location in nampo. I think it is much better than the shinsegae location.

http://cityawesome.com/busan1/tag/the-box-pnu/ It moved about half a block south on the same street. I think it is still there, but I haven't eaten there in a while. It has Pad Thai and Pad See Ewe, maybe one or two more thai dishes. There is another place in Seomyeon, Wok N Box that does stir fry just like The Box and I think they had a few Thai dishes on their menu. Neither is a Thai restaurant, but a friend that lived in Thailand for years said The Box is the best thai noodles he has eaten in Korea.
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has been to 'the kitchen' on Dalmaji Hill? Can't find much about it! Or if anyone could recommend another restaurant in that area?...
Joyce L. replied:
I like this little hamburger steak place. I haven't been back for a while so hopefully it's still there! You grill your meat on the hot stone. The address is at the bottom of the block. http://bosim.kr/369
Hi. Victor here. Is there any Cafe meetings other than Parry ones..? I see many other Cafe meetings in Seoul but just wondering if there's any in Busan. I'm from Canada...

London Cafe - Next to Jungang Subway stop.
Stumbled across this newly opened place while on a wander round Nampo. A proper greasy spoon style cafe for any Brits...

Hi Guys, any good buffet restaurants in busan other than Ashley, home plus ??? Also not a typical Korean or seafood buffet . Price not matter... Thanks in advance.
Wendy N. replied:
NC Mall in Seomyeon has a place I like called Pizza Mall which has multiple kinds of pizzas, make you own salads, hot dishes like risotto, spaghetti, muscles, and dessert, etc. I recommend it. Max price 13,000. I also liked O'Sushi across from CGV in Seomyeon which is a sushi belt buffet with a bunch of other options besides sushi. About 17,000.
K A. replied:
De Maris in Jangsan near the subway. Probably my favorite. The Star in Seomyeon near the Kyobo book store by the Sharp apartments. My school has outings here often.
Urgent!!!

Hello Folks we are looking for great business in anjeong-ri to opening the great Mexican restaurant. But we would like to ask to you guys who live in K-6 area.
Do you...
Joe E. replied:
A sit down restaurant with good mexican food would be great. Why transplant something from the U.S. like a Chipotle? Let's all sit down, relax, and enjoy a good meal with GOOD service from a good wait staff. Do we really need a cafeteria style, psuedo fast food joint like Chipotle?
