Hey guys. A friend told me she'd found a dress cafe in Daegu and I'd like to take a visiting friend, but I don't know where it is. Has anyone heard of this place or know...
Ta C. replied:
I did a simple search for "dress cafe in daegu" and got two results on Naver, a Korean portal and search engine. Both of them are near 2.28 memorial park in downtown; 드레스향(Dress Hyang)Tel. 254-3319 and 스토리 2.4(Story 2.4) Tel. 424-2468. It seems girls rent wedding dresses there and pose for some pictures.Strange places.^^
I wonder if there's a possibility...I hear this is very rare in Korea but...

It's amazing how many comments I got from my post:) Ok here is the thing, my favourite food is Mexican, I'm from Panama(Panama Canal, Central America) and being such a melting pot country and I myself cook pretty darn good(not to brag about it), it has been difficult for me to find authentic Mexican ingredients to make some real good flautas, chimichangas and Mexican rice. So wanted to know if out theres was good Mexican rest. I'm gonna try this weekend Caliente and give u guys later my review ;p
Hi, to the girls in here, in your experience, which restaurant have you been to that could be classed as the most romantic restaurant in Daegu? The decor, layout and...
Tiffany T. replied:
La Luce near Kyungpook National University Hospital - great ambience, delicious food (fresh ingredients, meals prepared by a chef who was trained in Europe), reasonable prices. The restaurant seats less than fifty, giving it a cozy, European cafe sort of feel, and also features a small wine pantry.
I have been told there is a Brazilian restaurant in Daegu; does anyone know what it's called and where exactly it is located?

We live close to downtown and it ran us about 6000. And I meant to say Trump World not towers. Their sign out front is green by the way. They open at 11:30, close at 11 pm and last order is at 10 pm. Closed 3-5:30 M-F
Does anyone know of a good Mexican restaurant here in Daegu? I'd like to go with my friends.
Yoshi D. replied:
I totally disagree with u Randy: TACO BELL?????come on don't insult Mexican cusine. I'm a cook and cook really good Mexican food. Taco Bell is a Fast Food TEX MEX. Salsa is not the basic thing, it is PICO DE GALLO which americans have turned into the generic SALSA. Asked any Mexican. It is made with fresh tomatoes, fresh cilantro (also known and coriander), onions, salt, pepper and lots of lime which is hardly to get and sometimes mix in avocado. I have to use the bottled one, since it's freaking hard to get lime:s. Sorry pal, but Salsa is not! In other words, to get a realy Mexican food here, is freaking hard cause some of the fresh produces are really hard to get, like the Chipotle pepper, which they only sell canned.
Aaron L. replied:
hi Randy. wow, you love to post on Facebook. i wonder what you did to piss off this Duprey fellow? hmm. well, i own The Holy Grill, and yes i'm Canadian. i've been here for 11 years Randy, and have owned and operated Daegu's most successful foreign-owned restaurant for the last 5 years. we recently closed our large 2 floor restaurant downtown, and opened 2 smaller restaurants...one in Sangin (west Daegu) and one right here downtown. it's at Banwoldang exit 12, next to Cafe Tiamo. at our new locations we scaled down our menu considerably, but we did keep our bestselling Tex Mex dish...our Santo Burrito. im biased, obviously, but im confident to say it's the best burrito in Daegu, and possibly all of Korea.
Sup fellow Daeguans. I'm beginning a public sketch group open to all artists (aspiring or professional). This is not a class but simply a community group for those who...
I love your idea! There is actually a cafe in Bongsan Street called Cafe Toon which is a gathering spot for Korean cartoonists. Perhaps worth having a look?

Is there a nice buffet-style restaurant downtown? Looking to have a nice meal with a bunch of friends Xmas day. Thanks in advance :)

Have you ever been to Bocaccio? They brew their beer there and they have deals on drinks with really good food. They had free beer with dinner if I can remember correctly. It's not downtown, it's in Hwang-gum Dong but I like it there. I used to hang out there and head to downtown area later at night. I miss Korea :'( http://m.blog.naver.com/yousun217/220208717870
