We are organizing ours from Karratha, so i know how you feel! We are using Matthew Evans photography, he has been so helpful! And Danny from Millenium:)
Suzannah D. replied:
Ahhh welcome to north QLD Jess Masters!:) Re DJ and lighting, I can recommend Danny from Millennium Weds as he looks after my 150+ bookings a year - and they all rave about him, and you'll find the same with qualified and reputable photographers, makeup artists and other suppliers.:)
Graziella B. replied:
Photographer; Blue Sky Photography definitely! DJ; both Millenium or Spectrum Sounds are very good. Good luck!:)
Carla B. replied:
Matthew Evans Photography. For his quality and experience the price is perfect. But what got me to book him is the amount of hours he is willing to capture every little detail or moment of your day and night. Most of the other photographers didn't offer that or charge you more for that. His prices are also available on the website. So you don't have to wait for a response or quote.:0)
Try Adam Taylor photography. Can find us on face book or message me. We cater to those that want a good product at a very reasonable price. Just did a wedding there about a month ago. www.facebook.com.au/adamtaylorphotos

www.cairnspremierentertainment.com.au We had Greg and Andrea at our wedding in May! they were reasonably priced and a pleasure to deal with!! they don't need mains power if you are having an outdoor wedding too! They really got all our guests up dancing!! So glad we went with them!
Alison C. replied:
Buzerk brothers are the best they are based in Atherton but do do cairns sometimes.
Yes they do both and Kerry and Wayne have been so helpful! They will also be your Mc if needed and can offer a photobooth. Their number is 0424586521 or you can email them at info@spectrum-sounds.com I think they are great price-wise too.

Jessica. I think you will find that Danny was simply trying to help you rather than be rude to you. I have never known him to be rude to anyone. Your wedding is at Rydges Esplanade and we have never done a wedding there that ended before midnight and we have done dozens there, it is a very popular venue. When you say music is part of your Ceremony Package it simply isn’t. Rydges supply a small sound system for you to use if you wish but it is up to you to supply an ipod and operator. This is hugely different to what we do with regards to Ceremonies. I am sorry that you felt Danny was the way you did, I think and know that the price between our 4 hour package and our 6 hour package is not a lot different and he was probably trying to give you the benefit of the extra 2 hours. Despite of all this, I do hope you have a fantastic wedding day, Fiona. Millennium Weddings.
Leisel P. replied:
Millennium Weds are by far your best choice, Danny is great at what he does. They come with my highest reccommendation:)
Carly M. replied:
Eddie skiba is awesome or John Gunston fron dirty Sanchez does 1 man gigs. Both are excellent. Need to book quickly as both get very busy.

Candice Geysing. I am also going through Cairns Premier Entertainment, Greg & Andrea are very professional. I am also having Andrea sing at the ceremony - she has an amazing voice! By the way, I am also getting married on the 6 th July this year
Ian S. replied:
Millenium is good. THere is a guy called Steve Williams who sings and then changes to a DJ for later in reception.

http://spb.com.au/alamanda-great-barrier-reef-chapel/ - This is a similar option has seating for 40 and space for 30 standing. But then again if you are on a budget you're better off having ceremony and reception at the same place.
