Timor Leste is easy from Darwin or Bali ... worth a trip in its own right ...not easy to get to from LB.

Uber Scuba in Labuan Bajo are amazing. They have a boat for day trips and a beautiful and affordable liveaboard boat. I did a 6 day,5 night liveaboard an the Amalia in February. It was incredible. Also, I recommend staying at Le Pirate. Really nice accommodation and not overly expensive. Be careful about some of the hostels. A friend of mine got bed bugs in one but I can’t remember which one.

I did my trip there with https://www.facebook.com/253370434797489 Blue Marlin Dive and it was awesome! They have nice equipment, a really cool boat the Ikan Biru and a friendly staff. You should really go there and check them out.

I'm getting married at millers beach bar and grill as mentioned above and it's going to be amazing, they are so accommodating for any need or vision I have had so far.... They have gone above and beyond to help.... Mission beach is beautifully private also.... Holiday homes and accommodation in the area also.... You stand on their deck and dunk island and the ocean is right there it's stunning... Worth the extra km's!

Hi Emma… Have you considered looking a little further south at Mission Beach? Millers Beach Bar & Grill is a fantastic location for a wedding reception. They don't have accommodation attached to the venue, but there are options very near by, and also an avenue to have a kids club set up in a air conditioned function room. They are on Facebook.

JUST IN CASE you still looking for other accom options, I know you have said 2 bedroom, but if you decide to make it a bigger affair, (20 min drive) in idyllic Palm Cove is Palm Cove House www.palmcovehouse.com.au is awesome and very reasonable for larger groups. They also offer smaller ground floor flat separately if preferred.

Rydges Esplanade (near the hospital) have reasonable rates for their apartments.

Villa San Michelle are apartments, they are very reasonable priced, lovely and comfortable size, haven't been there in about 5 years, but was very happy. They are on macrossan street.
