Emerald Lodge at Mareeba. www.emeraldlodge.com.au is our website and we are up the road from Ringers Rest.We have had guests stay at Lodge and use Ringers Rest as their ceremony and reception.But have had others that have had ceremony and reception at Lodge..Emerald Lodge is a 9 bedroom Lodge each with own bathroom and sleeps 20.. We would highly recommend The Blue House - small hotel near Blue Mosque in old part of town. Walk to most important sites and if you get upper floor rooms, views of the Bosporous.

We stayed at The Cartoon near Tamsin square and close to the trains that take you to the Blue Mosque etc

I liked The Hilton, very central and you can see all the cruises coming and going from the balcony, they also accept most currencies to pay for drinks etc.

Hotel Amira..loved it close to everything. Free afternon tea soo much Turkish Delight varieties. Staff went aove and beyond to help. Beautiful rooftop area too..
