Its the other side of Cambridge but I'd highly recommend the Cherry Hinton Dental Centre. Dr Suzanne Man is brilliant. I am petrified of the dentist and used to suffer panic attacks just from check ups but her calmness and understanding have had an amazing effect.

Huntingdon House Dental Surgery in St Neots are wonderful, I too hated the dentist and didnt go for 7 years.

Station road in St. Ives has gone downhill rapidly since being taken over by A1 dental. Got my first appointment in Cambourne next week.

We go to Cambridge smile Studio which is fabulous. My daughter has just been referred to Anglia Orthodontist and i have friend who go there and have said what a fabulous service they receive. X

Also had issues with Southern Dental. It would take too long to go into the nature of the complaint here, but it involved shocking administration and lack of customer service for a treatment I paid almost £2 k for! When I complained to Southern Dental they admitted they'd been rubbish but refused to offer me compensation because "we only offer compensation for clinical problems". So basically their admin can be as rubbish as they want, they don't care!

You could try Burnett and associates in Cambridge, they are brilliant!!!

I'm a dental nurse, we send patients that can't get appointments to hinchingbrooke, it has an emergency dental triage department. Just explain that your usual registered dentist can't see you for a long time and you cant deal with the pain it is causing, they should book you an appointment or advise you to call back in the morning. They will only usually fix it temporarily until you can get into your usual dentist. Number is 01480 363760 x

Ring Cam Doc or whatever it is called these days and they can book an emergency appointment if it is an emergency but I had to take my partner to Wisbeach for her appointment once.
