Roofers in Cambridge, Canada

I **JUST** used [Stybek Roofing](www.stybek.on.ca/) to replace the shingles on my roof. Everything went well and there was nothing out of the ordinary. The crew did a great job on the roof, they were on time and cleaned up well after the job was complete. I ended up paying $4300 +tax for my roof. It was the same price as quoted. When I was searching for a roofer I got in contact with many companies. [I was disappointed with Webcon Roofing](http://www.webconroofing.com/) quotes because they were inconsistent. I ended up being a mediator between the manager and the worker handling the quote. Their price was cheap at first but than worked it's way up over $5000 after tax. I don't trust guys like this who jerk you around on pricing for silly reasons [The Roofman](http://www.roofman.com/contact/) was terrible for getting me my quote on time and it was over $8000. The file folder he left in my mailbox was loaded with warranty junk and useless information. I think they try to make it seem like you're getting more for your money. They were far too late on the quote and never called me to follow up. Many other companies did not reply to my emails or calls. [Paul Meadus Roofing](http://paulmeadusroofing.webs.com/) Paul Meadus and his team do great work, you should check them out. They've done roofs all over KW and have many years experience.

I went with Roofman. I think they're on the pricier side of things. However, they have experience and longevity which spoke strongly to me when making a 20+ year investment. Have had my roof for about 5 years now, with no complaints so far.

Mike The Roofer did my roof this week. We got quotes in July from about 5 different places, and Mike was the person we felt most comfortable with (before he gave us the quote we decided we'd use him even if he cost a bit more). In the end, he also gave us the lowest price, which made it even easier. We have a small detached house with a small, extremely pitched roof. Mike and five other guys showed up just after lunch on Wednesday and did 99% of it by the end of the day. Came back for about an hour Thursday morning to finish everything. Would definitely recommend you get a quote from him. EDIT: for clarity's sake, I mean the company called Mike The Roofer: www.miketheroofer.ca. His name IS Mike, but I think I got quotes from 3 different guys named Mike, so I thought I should clarify.

The Roofman did a great job replacing my roof. They were honest and they took the time to help me understand my options. They did great fast work, too.

I can tell you who not to go with... D'Angelo and Sons Roofing. They did a terrible job from start to finish.

I've only done promotional work for them. Video, photography etc. They have multiple crews and offer a payment plan. They do good work and get the job done.

I'd go with Doctor Roof. Good company that's been around since the early '90 s. They just did some work at our place of business after we had a leak on the weekend. Costing estimates will vary dramatically from roof to roof. Depends on how many layers they have to rip off, the pitch of the roof, the quality of replacement shingles and so on.

I was happy with Thompson Roofing when I did the roof on the old house several years ago.

Same. Thompson replaced our roof out in Ayr. Was not a small roof either. They were there at 7 am sharp and were gone before 3:30 with everything cleaned up!! Both my neighbours took over 3 days and I was picking up garbage and nails and crap from them for over a week. John and Lori are great people. I would get them again in a heart beat.
