Poppy's Dressmaking and Alterations in Brookline. Just ignore the bad reviews. It's a Russian shop. Luba is actually awesome. If you're polite and friendly, so is she! Prices are super reasonable for the work done. If they feel like something shouldn't be done, or the item just isn't built for that type of alteration, they'll let you know. They'll still do it if you push for it, but they'll let you know it won't be perfect. I've had suits done and pants, my wife had her wedding dress and a bunch of shirts and pants done. Totally reasonable prices for the work involved. https://www.yelp.com/biz/poppys-dressmaking-and-alterations-brookline

If tailors won't work with it, there's [Sulphi Furs](http://suphifurs.com/) on the Cambridge/Watertown border who repair fur coats.

You sure you want to ruin a perfectly good sleeveless denim vest?
frauenarzZzt replied:
I cannot imagine adding sleeves to dungarees will in any way make that outfit remotely acceptable for a workplace.

riski_click replied:
any respectable business whose name ends in "the suit guy" should be able to take care of this for you.

Where do you work? I err on the "casual" side of "business casual" but that would be a stretch almost anywhere that doesn't market to hipsters.

Ask the current manager of the Filson store in Seaport. He’s got a Russian sounding name. He worked at that Levi’s location, iirc.
