Wild West Wednesday at Texas Roadhouse is a great deal! Big steak with 2 sides for about $11. Steaks are always perfect! I know, too bad it's a chain and not a local spot......but it's a good deal.
In NYC for one night - what's the one restaurant and show you'd recommend?
Scott K. replied:
Bring your wallet, and call ahead, but trust me, superior food, old world bow tie service and top notch clients - il Mulino, and skip the show to stay and have the table side Lemonchelo poured through the ice block . Last time I was there I ate with Paul Sorvino. "Pauly" from Goodfellas. http://www.ilmulino.com/newyork.php

Seeking suggestions for restaurants in a 70 mile (or so) radius that would require a country drive with some quality leaf-peeping for a late-Ocotober birthday dinner....
Jennifer N. replied:
Shady Maple for sure. If going on the actual birthday, the birthday boy or girl can get a free meal with id with the purchase of another adult meal. Check the hours before going though.

Rusty Rail Brewery in Mifflinburg. It's close to R.B. Winter State Park, which I'm sure would offer some beautiful fall views as well.
Holly K. replied:
Warm Springs Lodge - it is family style meals, but it is very good and a beautiful location right across from the creek in Landisburg. http://www.warmspringslodge.com/

It's restaurant week in Harrisburg, prixe fix dinners for $30, includes appetizer, entree and dessert. Check out the menus online. Google Harrisburg Restaurant Week for the website. A great way to try a restaurant without spending a fortune. Happy hunting!
I've heard that Millworks changed chefs. Anyone been there recently to say if the food is better? Or have other suggestions for a restaurant locally.
Beth T. replied:
Holly Keich the chef has changed at the Millworjs since you have been there. i was there for the soft opening and have been many times after. i would highly recommend guvung them another chance. all the foid is locally and sustainably sourced, which is right up your alley and its carefully prepared. i ate lunch there twice last week and it was utterly delicious!! besides the owners are borough residents and part of our community.
Holly K. replied:
Frank Sgrignuoli - so they may have changed chefs since I've been there. if it was over a year ago.
Alana B. replied:
I did not have the best meal on either of my two last visits:-( I was hoping it was a fluke, but... Both a little bit farther, but the Mill Restaurant at Hershey or Fidler & Co are both good with a similar vibe.
